Frequently asked wedding photography questions.

Q: Will our photos be shared on your website or social media?

A: Your privacy is completely respected. Every couple can choose whether or not their images are shared publicly. I’d absolutely love to showcase your beautiful day but if you prefer to keep your photos private, that is always respected.

Q: Do you travel?

A: Yes i have been to cape town, Nelspruit, George and Bloemfontein for weddings but i am willing to travel anywhere as long as travel cost and accommodation is paid for in addition.

Q: Is it you that photographs the wedding or is it various photographers.

A: I am always the main photographer and o focus on the couple and i have a second shooter that gets photos from different angels and the reactions of the guests.

Q: Will you retouch blemishes or distractions in our images?

A: All delivered images receive careful color and exposure editing for a polished, natural finish. A selection of your favorites (up to 80 images) can also receive additional detailed retouching on request such as removing temporary blemishes or minor distractions.

Q: Why should we do an engagement session?

A: An engagement session helps you feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera before your wedding day. You’ll experience gentle posing and natural interaction, so on the wedding day nothing feels unfamiliar or awkward just easy and comfortable.

Q: Why have two photographers?

A: While the main photographer focuses on key moments and portraits, the second photographer captures guest reactions, candid interactions, and alternative angles. This ensures your story is documented more completely, creatively, and without missed moments.

Q: How do we reserve our wedding date?

A: Once we have had a chat and you are happy with my style, ill send you a contract and once the signed contract is received and a R10 000 non-refundable retainer has been done. i will secure your date in the calendar. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding.

Q: Why is the retainer non-refundable?

A: Once your date is reserved, it becomes unavailable to other couples. The retainer secures your booking and offsets the loss of other potential work for that date.

Privacy Policy - the basics

Having said that, a privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy.

Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location.

What to include in the Privacy Policy

Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.
